HOW WE WORK
Our Approach

Ultimately, it’s all about you: what you want us to do and how you want us to do it.

We’ll take the time to really listen to you, to find out exactly what your needs and expectations are and gain an insight into the environment in which we’ll be working.

The New Perspective team will put together a project plan, run it by you and then crack on! We’re a pretty dynamic group of people – we like to get things done and done well. We believe that the success of our work is built upon effective communication, so we’ll keep in touch with you and be responsive throughout the process.

Finally, we’ll make sure that we’ve delivered exactly what you envisaged and are pleased with the work we’ve undertaken.

Our Promise

We pride ourselves on our ability to find and implement creative solutions to challenging real-world problems. The world isn’t static and we are agile enough to rapidly respond to changes to the brief.

The work we do is immensely rewarding and we always do it with passion and to the highest standard possible.

We promise that we won’t just seek to meet your expectations – we’ll strive to exceed them.

Our Values
  • Creativity
  • Integrity
  • Professionalism
  • Excellence
  • Reliability
  • Success
  • Wisdom
THE TEAM
Hanif Osmani

Hanif Osmani

Founder & Director

Hanif’s community development journey began in 2002 as a trainee on a £56m Government-funded regeneration programme on the Ocean Estate in East London, one of the most deprived areas of the country – and the estate on which he grew up.

Since then he’s held numerous positions, including senior management and leadership roles in a Local Authority, housing association and two charities, where he developed and delivered innovative community development programmes that have been praised as examples of best practice. Strategy, innovation and partnership development are the common threads that run throughout his career and his areas of expertise include community engagement, economic development and health & wellbeing.

Hanif’s entrepreneurial approach has seen him establish a charity and two social enterprises and he has supported organisations through his consultancy work with business planning, capacity building, facilitation, fundraising, mediation, project management and strategic planning.  He has also been a Trustee of the renowned Toynbee Hall, a charity which has been working to eradicate poverty for over 130 years.

Dermot has spent the last fifteen years working with corporate companies and other organisations across London, promoting and facilitating innovative corporate social responsibility programmes.

In 2007 he founded a charity that aimed to create employment opportunities for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic students studying in modern universities, delivering bespoke training programmes to organisations including the Metropolitan Police Force and the NHS. He is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute to train up to MBA level.

Dermot is a visiting lecturer at London Metropolitan University, Scout leader, school governor and a partnership board member for the Canal & River Trust. He has previously worked as a Senior Business Advisor for the Government Office for London and joined a ministerial task force on youth crime.
